Hriday made his debut in films at the tender age of 8  landing a role in the landmark movie- Bombay, directed by one of India's most acclaimed directors-Mani Ratnam.
He played Kamal Basheer, one of the twin boys who stole everyone's heart. After Bombay he acted in a few more films including Preminchkundam Raa starring Venkatesh and some commercials but then decided to pursue his education and get a degree.
However, he always had his heart set on pursuing a serious career as an actor.
